WELCOME,

Thank you for taking the time to look at my nursing portfolio. I am currently a Sophomore II. The following portfolio consists of my nursing definition and philosophy, along with my various achievements. Lastly, it encompasses all the work I have done up to this year. I hope you enjoy looking through my portfolio because I have dedicated much time, sweat, and tears.

Nursing DEFINITION:

A holistic steth 1approach to caring for an individual in all aspects, mind, body, and soul. It encompasses multiple subsystems, each varying from person to person. It is not task oriented but rather patient-care oriented. Therapeutic use of self and communication is key to the entire process out outcome.

Professional Statement

My one year goal is to take it one day at a time and complete the semester. I want to minimize my stress levels, as much as I can, and relies that quizzes and exams are only a minor step in my road to success. However, I would like to maintain my GPA standards that I have set for myself. The last goal for the year is to enjoy myself and take advantage of all the opportunities that surround me while having fun.
My five year goal is to first complete nursing school and obtain my BSN. After that, I would like to try to get straight into a master's program. I currently want to specialize in pediatrics as either a Nurse Specialist or a Nurse Practitioner.
