Goal-Setting

My Goals

Being enrolled here at Pacific Lutheran University as allowed me to achieve one of many goals of mine. I strove throughout high school to be the first member of my family to go to college, with continued hard work and dedication, I can be the first to graduate college as well. Other goals of mine include become a Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.), being employed as an accountant for a big firm or to become a CFO of a prestigious company, winning a Division III Baseball National Championship and to open my own business; possibly a restaurant. In order to become a C.P.A. I have to graduate PLU with a degree in Business Administration with a focus on accounting. I need to dedicate myself to studying and hard work to get great grades that are worthy to employers. By graduating college with a Business degree it opens up opportunities in the business world, which will hopefully lead to higher employment. But, not all of my goals relate to academics or employment, as I hope to win a National Championship in four years before my baseball career comes to an end. Without question, in order for me to achieve this goal I must dedicate myself to becoming the best baseball player that I can be. This means that I must dedicate myself to the weight room, the track, the batting cage and dedicating myself to keep my arm in shape and healthy.

Napoleon Hill Quotes:

"There is one quality that one must possess to win, and that is definiteness of purpose, the knowledge of what one wants, and a burning desire to possess it."
