City of Ladies
It is I,
Lady Lakia. I’m here with the benevolent questions, what is the reasoning for
the existence of men on this wonderful thing called Earth. It is us women who
have nurtured and taken care of Mother
Earth. Earth is represented as woman, not a male, and that is the first upper
hand us women have on the male species. If there was a vanishing of the female species,
our world would not be able to survive. It is us
women who were created by God to be able to bring in new the new creature into
this world, The baby is stored in our womb for approximately nine moths, until
the given day when that child exits our body through our sexual organ, the vagina.
After giving birth we are expected to raise that child so that it would be able
to survive in society. We are to discipline the child, teach the child, and
love the child. We are also the mothers of our households It us women
who are expected to cook, clean, and keep the household in an orderly fashion.
If our household child does not have proper manners and reaches the standard
expectation of what society believes a child should be raised, it is us women
who are blamed. If our household it is not kept and reaches the expectations of
society it is not the male who is blamed, but the female of the household who
is blamed. Once again,
I question the real reasoning of the male species. I believe that their soul
purpose in this world is to impregnate a woman
so that we are able to keep the world populated. The need for women to
rely on a man is no longer a hurdle in life. We our now able to have our own
occupation and income. That also decreases the necessity of men in society. We
need a world based around that revolves around women and caters to our every
needs. A room and a city I don’t believe is large enough for all the struggles
that we have endured throughout history. With these
questions that I have gathered together while pondering the reason of male
existence, I turn to a very wise older woman, Queen Mother. Mother has
experienced life going through many trials and tribulations, which allows her
to her immense amount of knowledge. Lakia I have
taken your questions into deep consideration. I will tell you the stories of
three different women, Lady Intimate, Lady Lust, and Lady Rebel. I hope that
these stories will help you to come to ends with the existence of men. Lady
Intimate is a woman in he early fifties, and married to the same mane for twenty
eight years. The man that she married, she dated since she was seventeen in
high school. The first man that she had a real relationship with, the man who
took her virginity, and the man she fell in love with. Between the age of seventeen, when her and
her husband first began dating, until the age twenty-two, when her and her
husband married, they have never broken up
or separated. As a married couple, the idea of divorce is a word that
has no place in their relationship and never aroused. Lady Intimate was a stay
at home mom for their three angelic children. She was able to watch her
children progressively grow from infants to teenagers, to young adults, and
into adult hood. She never missed a
sport affiliated activity, a school activity, yet a PTA meeting. Lady Intimates
husband served as the typical bread winner and provided the income for the
family. He had a steady well paying employed job that allowed his family to
live lavishly. Lady Intimate does not believe that she would be able to survive
in this world without her significant other or her children. It is her husband
that fills her life with joy with his provides her with unconditional love and
sexually. The creations of the woman’s
world women like Lady Intimate serve as the households that form the different
communities. As the world is today there are a plethora of communities and they
create the different make-ups of society. We have our rich, our middle-class
and our poor. We have the “safe” neighborhoods and our “ghettos” The parallel
relationship of Lady Intimates are those of the high to middle class “safe”
neighborhoods. The relationship that may have some bumps in the road, breaking up and getting back together and
discussion of divorce serve as the poor “ghetto” neighborhoods. Lady Lust, a
young woman in her mid twenty’s that is very independent. She has two jobs, one
a nurse at the local hospital and a waitress at
a restaurant not to far away from her place of residence. She lives by
herself in an apartment, that she pays all the bills for. A car that she has
fully paid for and does not have to depend on any male figure. Lady Lust is not
in a committed relationship, nor a relationship at all. Lady Lust spends her
weekends out at the local “spots”. Clubs, bars, and many more locations she
could meet and entertain men of her same social caste, that are interested in
the same thing that she is, Sex. Lady Lust was not worried about having a
boyfriend or being in a relationship, just experiencing the pleasure that sex
gives her. Having only one partner, how could she undergo different types of
pleasures if she does not have sex with different types of men. Lady Lust sees
life as a thrill and regrets nothing, exclaiming she is too young to settle
down with only one specific man. Lady Lust exemplifies the corporate world.
Lady Lust only uses men for her own pleasure to get what she wants. Citizens
have careers to get what they want, money. We have privately owned business
which serve as the independent woman. There are chain corporations which serve
as women like Lady Lust who put themselves more at risk than Lady Lust herself.
Involving themselves in multiple sex partners at a time and participating in
more deviant acts sexually that require more than one sexual partner at a time. Lady Rebel,
one that has rebelled against the idea of being in a relationship with a man or
marriage to one of the opposite sex. Lady Rebel has engaged in a relationship
with another woman. She is very happy
and her sexual pleasures have been fulfilled in a more less conventional way,
and the idea of sexual “toys” have been introduced. Responsibilities are split
between one another. Lady Rebel plays more of the womanly role in the
relationship, while her partner plays more of the masculine role in the
relationship. Lady Rebel clearly expresses her happiness and her love for her
significant other as much so as Lady Intimate. Lady Rebels and Lady Intimates
relationships with their significant other mimics one another immensely. A
major dilemma that Lady Rebel faces is the process of reproduction. For an
offspring to be produced the process of sexual intercourse is needed. Lady
Rebel and her significant other can not do that so they are faced with choices.
Choices of artificial insemination or adoption, or having a surrogate mother.
Once Lady Rebel and her other has developed a family, the common norm of a
child having a father and mother would be dismissed and the child would have
two mothers. Lady Rebels also expresses
that she could not survive without her significant other. Those of the same
profile as Lady Rebel represent the working women in the world of women. Lady
Rebel has insubordinately gone against mainstream expectation of a couple. Us
women today have gone against the traditional women housekeeping and the men
providing the income, because women today can work and create their own
incomes. For our struggles to be respected to have a occupation Lady Rebel
clearly represents because she has to go through many struggles being accepted
because she goes against the norm of opposite sex marriage. Same sex marriage
may not be respected by some yet tolerated just like working women. Lakia you
may question my reoccurring references on the subject of sex. Though, for our
world to survive we have to continually produce offspring’s and doing so
involves the activity of sex. Queen Mother has introduced to me, an abundance of information on the formulating of our Woman World. We have our world that is comprised of citizens and their households that form neighborhood and communities, and to keep those households intact, we have our business that our citizens are employed at. Though, the existence of men are to partake in the sexual deed and create the offspring so that are world may go on and survive. Though, I believe that as women we are stronger than me emotionally and for us to do to men what they did to us, segregating us from them, would only be a step backward and not forward. I believe that they should have some limited association with our world but sure not to take over and be the dominant species, but allow for the women to continue to uphold that position. We will rule our Woman World and progress further as the dominant role than the men, when they were the dominant ones. As women we shall come together as one to learn from one another and create the Woman World so that it can come reign and women become highly respected. |
