Membership Criteria
 Alumni of Pacific Lutheran University are considered to be: all
graduates and former students of Pacific Lutheran Academy, Spokane
College, Columbia College, Pacific Lutheran College and Pacific
Lutheran University for a minimum of twenty-four semester hours
(defined as 2 semesters or one year), exclusive of summer school.
Honorary members of the Alumni Association include: Faculty,
Staff, Regents, all persons elected by the Board of Regents of the
university for recognition of meritorious service and those specially
honored by the alumni association, as well as recipients of Honorary
Degrees from the university.
Goals
RECRUITMENT – To develop an alumni team approach to identifying potential
new students, and to assist admission staff in recruitment efforts.
INVOLVEMENT – To increase alumni involvement with positive interaction in
all phases of university life.
FUNDING – To increase the number of alumni givers and the total dollars
contributed annually.
PROGRAMS – To provide personal and professional networking and advising
programs for students and alumni.
SERVICES – To demonstrate the university’s interest in alumni by providing on-going benefits and services.
BOARD – To create an alumni board structure that supports and implements
these objectives.
