The Wild Hope Project: Exploring Vocation at PLU
Speakers: Project co-director Dr. Lynn Hunnicutt, Associate Professor of Economics and Amber Dehne, Assistant Director, Student Involvement and Leadership
The Wild Hope Project challenges students to ask Big Questions about the purpose of their lives and labor. Rooted in the university’s mission “to educate for lives of thoughtful inquiry, service, leadership, and care,” Wild Hope invites the university to consider the profound relationship between education and service in a world marked by great need. Come and see how Wild Hope incorporates activities in and outside of the classroom to challenge students to reflect on significant questions asked by thoughtful people: How will my life and my work make any difference in the world? How will our questions and learning lead us to intentional service, stronger leadership, and wiser care of the earth and its great diversity?
