A daily Homecoming schedule is provided below to assist you in planning your return to campus.  Please make your reservation before September 18. Your itinerary, tickets, directions, campus map and directions to off-campus events will be mailed starting September 18.

8:30 am – 12 pm, University Center

Join us in the morning for a festival-like atmosphere all Lutes can enjoy! Complete with a continental breakfast and performances from Hawaii Club, Hermonic (student a cappella group) and the Parkland Youth Symphony (a jazz quartet), learn about PLU today, enjoy reuniting with classmates, faculty and more.

Nursing Alumni Reunion Reception

Join us for the annual business meeting of the Nursing Alumni Association. Also, register for the Homecoming Celebration Luncheon on Sunday to honor outstanding alumni, including the 2009 Nursing Alumni Association’s Distinguished Nursing Alumna Mary Lynn Pannen ’81.

$ 10, kids under 13 are free.

Join the PLU community in a 5k fun run or one mile walk for parents and kids around campus! Receive a commemorative water bottle.

Wild Hope Seminar

“What will you do with your one, wild and precious life?” This is the question that focuses study and discussion of vocation at PLU. Participate in a conversation with current Wild Hope Committee Chair, Dr. Samuel Torvend, ’73.

Children’s Hula Lessons

Bring the whole family to join members of the Hawaii club to learn the ancient tradition of Hula.

Global Scholars

With over 40 percent of the PLU student body studying away some time during their collegiate career, come learn about global education at PLU.

Media Tours

Led by current members of PLU student media, tour the newly remodeled spaces in the University Center for The Mast, KCNS, KCCR, Saxifrage and

Hermonic

Listen to the student led Hermonic, the women’s a cappella group.

Join alumni from the School of Nursing to learn about the health challenges facing the world/our local communities today.

Making Music

PLU music professors host a time for children to come learn about music and even create some original scores.
