J-term 2007 :: Where will you go?

Photography In New York City

This course focuses on photographing in New York City, one of the most stimulating and dynamic cultural environments in the world. You will experience its complexity in art, architecture, and ethnic neighborhoods by photographing in various well-known areas of the city, visiting major museums and galleries. and attending video installations, cinema, theater, modern dance and performance art.

Cost: $2950 includes airfare, lodging, program related transportation, entrance fees. Meals are not included

Asian Art in Seattle

Spend Jterm studying Asian Art constructed around the extensive collection of the Seattle Asian Art Museum in Volunteer Park on Capitol Hill, as well as the Seattle Art Museum in Downtown Seattle. You will explore the rich art-historical traditions of India, China, Korea, Southeast Asia, and Japan in media ranging from sculpture, ceramics, architecture, painting and textiles.

Cost: $150 includes j-term administrative costs, entrance fee to the Seattle Aidan art Museum and Seattle Art Museum. Does not include Transportation.
