Jennifer's Portfolio

About Me

My name is Jennifer Ashburn, and I have been a student at Pacific Lutheran University since fall of 2007. I will be graduating in May 2010 with a business degree. The purpose of this portfolio is to show who I am as an individual, show how I have changed and grown during my time at PLU, and give evidence of my ability to work with these core competencies, and core values.

The most important thing in my life has always been, and continues to be, my relationship with God. I believe that my faith relates to every part of my life, including my education and future career. My faith is the reason for my desire to handle all situations with integrity, and put my best effort forth in all of my endeavors. Ethical decisions are of utmost importance during school, and just as much so when in a career. I find that my reason for always striving to make ethical decisions is found in my faith. Trust is very necessary in the business world, and trust can only be built by continuous ethical decisions.

I desire to make a positive impact on the world, and on the people I come into contact with. I don't know how big or small this impact may be, but every positive action makes a difference.
