High School: He was an all-league catcher and was twice named to the all-league honorable mention team as a catcher. He served as captain for both his football and baseball teams. DePew was also an honorable mention wide receiver. He was named Scholar Athlete of the year two times.

Personal: Born Feb. 4, 1985…parents are Darla and Scott Depew…he is a business administration major with a 3.25 GPA.
