d3football.com Names Eisentrout Third Team
All-American
The
postseason awards for Pacific Lutheran’s Andrew Eisentrout
continue to roll in as the defensive end earned d3football.com 2007
Third Team All-America honors. Earlier, he had received d3football.com
First Team All-West Region recognition for the second consecutive
season.
Eisentrout led the Northwest Conference with 11.5 quarterback sacks
for this season, and his 14.5 tackles for loss were second only
to teammate Robert Thomsen in the conference. Eisentrout earned
Northwest Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Year honors and
was a first team all-conference selection.
Eisentrout, a senior from Olympia, Wash., finished the season with
51 total tackles, including 29 solo stops, and he also had four
pass breakups and two forced fumbles in nine games. He helped Pacific
Lutheran finish with a 7-2 record, including a 4-2 mark and a second-place
tie in conference play.
