Describe your family. How have they helped you in your athletic career?
I have been fortunate to have a very close family. My sister and I are very lucky to have great parents that have led us in the right direction. My family is the reason why I have been so successful thus far in my career. They support me on and off the field and are constantly testing me to make sure I give my best in everything I do. Without my family I would not be the athlete I am today.

Describe any hardships or extenuation circumstances that you have faced to get to where you are today.
This is one thing in my career that I have been fortunate not to have experienced. Everyone in my life has supported me and encouraged me to be a better soccer player and person.

What made you decide to come to PLU?
A chance to have a great education was the number one reason. Having my friends and family being able to watch me on weekends was an added bonus and helped in the decision process.

What has been your favorite class at PLU?
My favorite class would have to be Entrepreneurship. This class was not only fun but it tested me in every aspect of business. I was able to create my own business from scratch. Doing all marketing, finance, accounting, law, etc. I was able to put what I learned in all other classes into this one single class.

Have you had any trouble balancing athletics with academics?
Yes, because school has never come easy to me and I work very hard to keep my grades up. The past couple of semesters have gotten tougher now that the School of Business has dropped its credits from four to three per class. But, I believe that the harder you work for something it only makes your successes that much greater.

What are your plans after college?
I plan to get on with a marketing firm, hopefully in Seattle, and working my way up the ranks. With all the hard work I have put in at PLU I hope that I can transfer that work ethic into the working world.

When your athletic career is all said and done, what is it that you would want people to say about you?
I would like them to say that I was a good captain, teammate and friend. I would also like to be remembered as one of PLU’s best forwards, hopefully with the school's scoring record! Lastly, I would like for my entire 2007 team to be remembered as PLU’s first men’s soccer national champions!

Describe your hometown and what you miss about it the most.
I have a fantastic hometown of Lake Tapps, Washington. It is a moderate home that has provided me with all the opportunities that I could ask for. Since I still live at home I don’t miss it too much but I do miss not having my sister around.

What's your favorite spot on campus?
It would have to be the soccer field. Anything and everything that I have done for PLU has happened on that soccer field. I spend most of my time there and plan on spending time there even after I have graduated.

What is your favorite restaurant in Tacoma?
Farrelli’s on Garfield Avenue is my new favorite restaurant. It’s a great place to hang out and get a cold drink and pizza with friends and family.

What music is playing in your ipod right now?
T.I.’s “You know what it is.” It gets me pumped up for every game right now. I also have a little Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Justin Timberlake, Dj Khaled and a couple others as well.
