Point Loma Nazarene Shut Out PLU

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Point Loma Nazarene University, ranked No.
11 in the NAIA men's tennis national poll, showed off its talent
with a 9-0 victory over Pacific Lutheran on Monday afternoon at
the PLNU courts.
The Sea Lions (8-7 overall) gave up only five games in the three
doubles matches, and only one of the singles matches went beyond
two sets. Michael Manser, playing No. 4 singles for the Lutes, pushed
Craig Johnson to a super-tiebreaker before losing 6-7, 6-1, (12-10).
PLU (10-6) returns to action tomorrow when it faces Redlands, which
is No. 11 in the NCAA Division III men's tennis rankings.
