PLU Softball Start Time on Friday Moved
Ahead Two Hours
Pacific Lutheran and Linfield have agreed to move ahead by two
hours the start time of their Friday afternoon Northwest Conference
softball doubleheader.
The first game was scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. but instead will
start at noon. Since the Linfield team is traveling to Tacoma on
Thursday and will spend the night, PLU head coach Rick Noren and
Linfield head coach Jackson Vaughan agreed to the change.
The teams are also scheduled to compete in a conference doubleheader
on Saturday and that start time, also noon, will remain the same.
Those games can be heard locally starting at 1 p.m. on KLAY 1180
AM, and on the internet at www.klay1180.com.
Pacific Lutheran comes into the four-game series with an 11-6 overall
record, including a 5-5 mark in the conference. Linfield, which
has won three consecutive Northwest Conference championships, is
currently 20-4 overall and 11-1 in the conference. Whitworth leads
the NWC with a 12-0 record.
