Jordan Panian, a freshman outfielder from Tahoma High School, earned 2007 first team all-state and All-SPSL honors.

Brittney Weissenbuehler, a freshman infielder from Gresham High School in Gresham, Ore., earned second team all-league honors in addition to being a two-time scholar-athlete and her team’s most inspirational player in 2007.

Allysha Clark, a freshman infielder and catcher from Puyallup’s Cascade Christian High School, was a first team All-Nisqually League catcher and a Scholastic Athlete of the Year Award recipient in 2007.

Beth Haahr, a freshman infielder from Puyallup’s Rogers High School, earned first team All-SPSL honors in 2007.

Chantell Winter, a freshman pitcher from Orting High School, earned first team all-league honors as a senior.

“The coaching staff is very excited to see the impact that the incoming recruiting class of transfers and freshman will have in 2008,” Noren said. “We anticipate a tremendous amount of competition for playing time and look forward to improving upon last year's record and conference finish. The Northwest Conference is one of the most challenging in Division III and we look forward to the challenge that it presents on a weekly basis.”

Pacific Lutheran finished the 2007 season with a 17-18 overall record and placed sixth in the Northwest Conference with an 11-17 mark.
