Jan. 27, 2007 SEATTLE - Megan Wochnick competed in the weight throw on Saturday at the University of Washington Invitational at the Dempsey Indoor facility in Seattle. This is the first competition for the Pacific Lutheran track & field team of the 2007 indoor season. Wochnick, a senior, set a mark 44-08.75 (13.63 meters) on her first throw. Because of the number of competitors, meet officials chose not to mark second and third throws that did not exceed 15.00 meters. Her toss was good for 14th place in her flight and 20th overall. Wochnick's place may not seem very impressive until you look at the competition. Every thrower ahead of Wochnick was from a NCAA Division I or Division II school, making her the top Division III thrower in the meet. Wochnick was the only athlete from Pacific Lutheran competing that
