March 26, 2007 Lute Athletes Off the Pace at Linfield Multi-Events Meet Decathlon Results McMINNVILLE, Ore. - Jeffrey Rockenbrant and Rebecca Lewis of the Pacific Lutheran track team were both well off the pace after the first day of the Linfield Decathlon/Heptathlon meet. After five decathlon events, Rockenbrant sat in 12th place in the 15-athlete field with 2,193 points. Brian Lelue of Humboldt State holds the lead with 3,329 points. Lewis is in last place among the eight women competing in the heptathlon with 1,188 points. Brooke Barker of Pacific leads with 2,269 points. The event concludes on Tuesday with five decathlon events and three heptathlon events. - PLU -
