College: Last year as a sophomore Faven qualified for the national meet...finished runner up at the conference meet in the 400 meter hurdles and third in the 100 meter hurdles...as a freshman placed in four different events at the conference meet...earned two varsity letters.

High School: Participated in the state meet all four years…senior year placed 3rd in the 100m high hurdles, 2nd in the 300m low hurdles, and was on the second place 4x100 relay.

Personal: Born July 15, 1987…parents are Ghenet Yohannes and Benny Araya…plans to major in biology and become a pediatrician.
