Results
BELLINGHAM – Freshman Lakia Arceneaux ran a lifetime best
12.56 in the women’s 100-meter dash to highlight the Pacific
Lutheran performances at the WWU Twilite meet held this evening
at Civic Stadium.
Arceneaux’s time not only earned the Puyallup native first
place in the race, it also moves her into 16th on the PLU all-time
list in that event. Teammate Amy LeBrun also ran a lifetime best
of 12.70 to place third. Arceneaux and LeBrun teamed up with Faven
Araya and Callie Gunderson to win the 4x100-meter dash in a time
of 49.79. Arceneaux also placed second in the long jump (16-7) and
third in the 200 (26.31). Lexie Miller placed second in the
3000-meter steeplechase, running 11:43.52, only a second off the
school record, which Miller set last week at the Northwest Conference
Championship.
On the men’s side, freshman Isaac Moog provided the highlight
by winning the 400-meter dash in a time of 49.73.
Off the track, Taylor Hacker placed second in the women's hammer
with a toss of 162-02.
The next meet on the schedule for the Lutes is the John Knight
