High School: Was named the Student Athlete of the year at Puyallup High School as a senior.

Personal: Born July 20, 1983…parents are Julie and Dan McGinn…older sister Erin played two years at PLU and graduated from the school…majoring in History and Education with a minor in English…plans on becoming a teacher after college.
