Pacific Lutheran Ranked No. 25 in d3hoops.com
Women’s Poll
After losing two games and dropping out of the d3hoops.com Division
III women’s basketball poll, Pacific Lutheran has returned
to this week’s poll with the No. 25 ranking.
The Lutes, 4-2, received 66 points in the poll of 25 coaches, sports
information directors and media members from across the country.
PLU had been ranked No. 16 in the preseason poll but, after winning
its first two games, dropped consecutive contests to NCAA Division
II opponents Western Washington and St. Martin’s.
Last weekend, the Lutes started defense of their Northwest Conference
championship with convincing home court wins over Linfield (61-39)
and Willamette (57-30).
PLU plays a pair of non-conference games this weekend, hosting
The Evergreen State College at 7 p.m. Friday and Corban College
at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
