Whitman Sweeps Doubles, Beats Pacific Lutheran, 6-3

Whitman swept the doubles competition and went on to defeat Pacific Lutheran, 6-3, in a Northwest Conference women's match played Sunday at the UPS Tennis Pavilion.

The Lutes got wins from the top three singles players - Erika Feltus, Nicole Petrzelka and Bria Smith - but could not break through in any other match.

The Lutes are now 4-2 for the season and also in Northwest Conference matches.
