PLU Rebounds From Friday Loss, Beats Whitworth
SPOKANE, Wash. - One day after dropping a tough 6-3 decision to
Whitman College, Pacific Lutheran came back to defeat the host Whitworth
Pirates, 6-3.
With the win, the Lutes improve to 11-4 overall and to 9-4 in the
conference. Whitworth, which also lost a close 5-4 decision to PLU
back on March 3, is now 9-9 overall and 8-7 in the conference.
The Lutes fell behind 2-1 in doubles, with the top-ranked team
of Nicole Petrzelka and Erika Feltus getting the point with an 8-3
win over Linh Aven and Katie Troxell. Needing to win at least four
