College: Chris has been a member of PLU cross country all four years...his freshman season he won both the track and cross country most improved awards.

High School: Played baseball and football while attending A.C Davis High School...while playing baseball he was able to play on two state baseball teams before a career ending shoulder operation...he was also voted most inspirational in 2004.

Personal: Born December 16, 1985…parents are Janie and Art Ramirez…His dad Art ran collegiately and held 14 Yakima Valley track and cross country records, the last of which fell in 1998 (26 years later)...majoring in political science with a minor in religion...currently has a 3.0 GPA...is also a 2005 Rieke leadership award recipient, Washington State Achiever’s scholarship recipient, and Yakima hard core runner’s club scholarship recipient.
