PLU Women’s Cross Country Earns Academic Honor

The Pacific Lutheran University women’s cross country team has earned Division III All-Academic Team honors as announced today by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

The Lutes compiled a 3.47 grade point average on a 4.0 scale. PLU was one of 141 Division III women’s programs – just over one third of the total programs in the nation – to receive the honor. To qualify, a team must have a minimum 3.10 team cumulative grade point average.

Pacific Lutheran placed fifth in the nine-team Northwest Conference championship meet and went on to a 12th-place finish at the Division III West Region meet.
