My name is Scott Austin and I am currently attending Pacific Lutheran University. The reason I chose PLU was because it had an outstanding reputation and offered me a large college atmosphere while maintaining a small community feel. I plan to graduate from PLU in May of 2009 with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing. I chose to apply for the School of Business because business has always been an intriguing field of study for me. I decided to take a few business classes before I attempted to declare my major, and I decided on marketing because it sprouted my interest the most. Through my studies in the School of Business I believe that I have gained an immeasurable amount of essential knowledge that will aid me in reaching all of my life goals
On more of a personal level I believe that I am an easy-going person with a well-grounded set of morals and values. My morals and values have all been shaped by my family, my life experiences, and my education from PLU. I enjoy spending my free time with my family, relaxing with my friends, or participating in one of my many hobbies.
