A SWOT analysis is a tool to evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats involved in a project or business. It may also be used to asses these concepts within a person. In this section I will discuss how I will capitalize on my strengths, improve upon my weaknesses, seize opportunities, and deal with challenges.
Strengths
During my education at Pacific Lutheran University I have been involved in many projects and presentations that have allowed me to further my repertoire of strengths. The following are a list of my most dominate strengths.
-hard working
-dedicated
-punctual
-organized
-communication skills
-reliable
Weaknesses
I believe my biggest weakness is a combination of being too organized and punctual. The reason I believe this is because I sometimes get situations so planned out that if one thing changes it causes me to get stressed out. Since I am aware of this weakness I will continue to work on it in order to eliminate this weakness and grow as a person.
Opportunities
I am always trying to further my growth and knowledge as an individual, and I believe this is how I will be able to seize opportunities that come my way. I am always ready and willing to take on any task at hand, and this will give me a competitive advantage when it comes to employment. I will not let opportunities and chances to further myself in life pass me by.
Threats (Challenges)
Once I graduate from Pacific Lutheran University I am aware that I will be face with many challenges. I believe that I am ready to face these challenges and overcome them with the skills and knowledge I have gained from my education.
