Beta Alpha Psi

Beta Alpha Psi, the national honor fraternity for financial information professionals, dates back to 1919 when the Alpha Chapter formed at the University of Illinois. Pacific Lutheran University is one of over 200 universities throughout the United States that have an active Beta Alpha Psi chapter. Delta Rho chapter was started in 1976. Changes in the national bylaws during 1999 opened membership to declared Accounting, Finance and Information Systems candidates.

"As the premier professional business information fraternity, Beta Alpha Psi recognizes academic excellence and complements members' formal education by providing interaction among students, faculty, and professionals, and fosters lifelong growth, service and ethical conduct." - Mission Statement, Article I, National Bylaws of Beta Alpha Psi

Meetings are held on Thursdays at 7:00 PM in the Morken Center room 137. Specific information on membership and events is posted on the Beta Alpha Psi bulletin board, located on the second floor in the Morken Center.
