AmeriCorps &Peace Corps Two of the service programs I have participated in during my post-collegiate years are Peace Corps (Bangladesh) and Literacy*AmeriCorps (Seattle). While I discontinued my Peace Corps service early on, I still learned a great deal and am happy to share my experiences. I had an absolutely fantastic experience with AmeriCorps and am likewise happy to provide any insight I can into this organization. In both programs I worked as an ESL teacher and continue to be interested in immigrant, refugee, citizenship, ESL and literacy issues.
