Ethics and Professional Conduct Ethics and professional conduct are another core competency that is highly important in the business world. Today, business practices are changing as the environment is a top concern. Business' must be able to adapt to the changes made, if they wish to survive an ever-changing world. My Experience Throughout my term at Pacific Lutheran University I have taken classes in ethics and professional conduct, from PHIL 225 to BUSA 303 to BUSA 305. From these classes I have been able to see more in depth how ethical practices affect not only the role of business but employees' practices as well.
