Being at PLU for the past four years I have always wanted the chance to study and travel abroad so given the chance to travel to China was an opportunity not to pass up.

How China has changed me...
Coming back from China, I was able to view first hand how much I have to be thankful for. I know this sounds cliche to say, but until one travels to another country and see first hand the poverty the people live in you don't know just how good you may have it.

Pacific Lutheran University strives for all of its students to travel abroad during their four years. The benefits of traveling and studying abroad are far too numerous to count. By stepping out of one's comfort zone you are able to broaden you're horizons, expand your mind and challenge to learn while living in a country completely out of your element.
