Business Development Intern April 2008- September 2008
Worked on the analysis and acquisition of companies who would aid the growth of All Star Directories. Ran daily reports on site performance for over 20 different web pages. Worked directly with Accounting department in closing the week and month end Business Development numbers. Helped create presentation material for board meetings. Created projections for up comings months on revenue, cost, gross profit, and growth of Business Development.

Worked directly for Senator Kastama, of the 25th district, on
pieces of legislation he was sponsoring.
Did extensive research to build a strong foundation for bills, spoke
with leaders of companies and corporations, helped create the senator’s Economic
Development PowerPoint Presentation, built excel templates, wrote letters to
constituents, wrote bill summary reports and answered phones.

Assisted Finance, Marketing, and Sales departments in the development of
business intelligence financial models and reports. Accomplishments include customer
profitability analysis, forecasting tools, and translation of massive

Created excel spreadsheets that used logical functions to help determine
adoption suitability of prospective parents.
Created timesheet that was used for all employees to log in hours for
multi-dimensional job and rate structure. Also worked on malfunctioning
computers and network errors in the office.

Agent Winter 2004-June 2005
Hired as an Events Coordinator; duties included contacting senior level
business executives to register for Microsoft seminars and business
meetings. This encompassed presenting
relevance and worth of these events to Microsoft certified partners. Had a very
high success rate on this project and was promoted to Sales Agent with the Microsoft
Action Pack Team; duties included selling the Microsoft Action Pack to small
and medium sized businesses throughout the United States. The Action Pack consists of products such as
Microsoft Office, Small Business Server, Windows XP, OEM software, and other
ancillary products. Consistently was in the top 5 in weekly sales out of 120 members of the
Action Pack Team, at one point selling 46 units in a ten hour period.

Cobalt Group, Inc.
Help Desk Assistant Summer 2004
Duties included frontline personal computer support for internal Cobalt
employees. Responded to employee issues
and needs, built and deployed desktop and laptop machines, configured Microsoft
based environments and set up conference rooms for meetings.
