Collaborate in the design, management, and coordination of care.

» Nursing 220
In nursing 220, collaboration of care was an important aspect in our learning. In our lab classes where we had learned how to preform skills, we were tested at the very end and it was called Put It All Together Day. We had been given a set of scenarios and then we were expected to preform care while the teacher watched us and made sure we preformed all the skills correctly and transitioned smoothly between them.

» Nursing 270
The CHF program is heavily designed on collaboration with the Multicare team. In order to manage our clients care, we must know their charts and Multicare allows us to do that. Our weekly phone calls we document into their system and help manage care of our patients. These clients are with us until the end of schooling and as we progress in classes, we are able to care for them more each semester.

Meeting Objectives and Reflection

Collaboration of care is vital with any patient. the CHF program has been the most important learning experience for this thus far. As we move through classes, I think collaboration and management of care will be an important theme through the rest of my nursing career.
