Hi, my name is Jordan Blevins, when I was little I was
diagnosed with an opticgleoma which is a type of brain tumor which is located
in my optic neurve. The brain tumor has caused some challenges for me through
school because my tumor left me blind in my right eye and I have limited vision
in my left eye. Although I have a difficult time reading small print that hasn’t
stopped me from persevering and pursuing my dreams. “Be the change you wish to
see in the world” is a fantastic quote by Gandhi. I live by this quote on a
daily basis, the reason for this is I want to make the world a better place and
no better place to start then with myself. My dream is to make a difference in
the world and that is why I want to double major in Business and Psychology at
the wonderful Pacific Lutheran University. My vision issues will not stop me from being successful, because even from a young age I dressed for success.
