As a Senior at Pacific Lutheran University I am currently working towards earning my BBA with a concentration Accounting and plan to graduate in May of 2009. I have also earned a Minor in Spanish, which includes a semester abroad in Granada, Spain studying at the Centro de Lenguas Modernas and a DELE intermediate certification diploma for the Spanish Language.
I work two jobs on campus. I am a manager for the Admin Espresso Kiosk and the Forensic and Debate Team's Expense Accountant. These jobs have taught me excellent interpersonal skills, administrative skills, and strong inniciative. I am passionate about what I do and look forward to the next step after graduation. I hope to work for a smaller, private accounting firm and am currently in the recruitment process. As for my interests, languages are my passion; and although I am studying Spanish, my Rotary Exchange in Brasil taught me to speak Portuguese and also gave me a desire to learn each of the 4 romance languages in turn (Portuguese, Spanish, Italian and French). I am also an avid Ultimate Frisbee player and am proud to take a leading role on my team this year as our "travel agent." |
