My definition of Nursing: Nursing is the art and science of caring for the whole person in times of sickness, disease, wellness, and normality. I compiled this definition from my own beliefs, as well as various definitions and statements on nursing found in our textbooks About Me My name is Suzanne Brydges, and I am a member of the PLU School of Nursing, December 2010 graduating class. I was born and raised here in Washington state, but now call Bend, Oregon home. I enjoy spending my summers and holidays there. In the winter, when I'm not at school studying, I can be found at one of our local ski areas. I have been passionate about skiing for as long as I can remember, and I am fortunate to be able to teach skiing and snowboarding here in Washington as well as other places. I can't wait to head to Utah for J-term! I am enjoying my time here at PLU immensely, and I am looking forward to continuing to learn and experience the art of nursing.  |
