| Welcome to my portfolio for the school of Nursing, Pacific Lutheran University. It includes the 7 program outcomes provided by the school of Nursing. All the 7 program outcomes demonstrate the knowledge I have acquired so far and what I will be acquiring as I pass through the BSN program. To the right side is my COAT OF ARMS. All of those symbols represent what nursing means to me. It includes; 1. The knowledge that support patients and provide nursing care. 2. Universal access to care in that a nurse should be an advocate when it comes to the supporting universal care 3. Kindness by spending time listening to clients and giving them time to respond to their needs. 4. Giving good quality of care to all clients. 5. The ability to perceive the meaning and feelings of another person and to be able to communicate. 6.Compassionate care to all regardless of race, culture, sex, age or gender. |
