Learn what it really means to be a nurse and become self-competent
Disregard my assumptions and previous ideas of what society believes nurses are and what nurses actually do
Understand the theories of nursing and adapt them to practice
Understand the nursing process and utilize it in practice
Continuing compassion, without becoming overly attached
Spend effort and time needed to not only pass classes but retain and implement information learned
Time management between work and schedule
Become a professional student and learn professional practice as a nurse through classes and clinicals
Keep trying after a failure and wisdom that I can succeed with practice
