This workshop will give you the tools to design a learning centered offering, program, or course as well as creating documentation that will both guide and engage learners.  Bring your ideas and your plans.  Leave with a plan to achieve and evaluate learning.

Patsy Maloney, EdD, MSN, RN, BC, Associate Professor in the School of Nursing at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA. Dr. Maloney has over 30 years of clinical, educational, and administrative experience. Her clinical experience includes Emergency, Medical-Surgical, Progressive Care, and Pediatrics. Dr. Maloney has served in a variety of management positions and has supervised as many as 190 employees and been fiscally responsible for over 2 million dollars worth of assets. She has been the Chief, Nursing Education and Staff Development for a 1000 person department. She was an invited presenter at the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) 1st and 2nd Faculty Development Conferences. She has presented nationally for National Conference on Professional Nursing Education and Development, National Association of School Nurses and the National Nursing Staff Development Organization. Dr. Maloney is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in Nursing Continuing Education and Staff Development and in Nursing Administration, Advanced.
