Geriatric Pharmacology

What changes in processing and responding to medications occur with aging? What commonly prescribed medications cause mental and behavioral changes as side effects in the geriatric population? What alternative treatments are available? These questions will be discussed in relation to polypharmacy concerns, constipation, sleep disorders, anxiety disorders, depression, delirium, and dementia.
