Preview Office 2007
Before introducing Microsoft Office 2007 to the PLU campus, research, evaluation and testing is required. This process is necessary to minimize frustrations some may experience when changing to a new software version. Our plans are to determine any compatibility issues this new version may have with our current versions. Our goal is to begin introducing Office 2007 with new computers purchased in the summer of 2008. Watch this space for occasional postings on our progress.
This new version offers significantly more changes than any previous version. Some features may not be immediately implemented due to requirements for additional servers and services. You can start your preview by viewing Microsoft's demonstration video. Feedback needed from campus users:
Please send a brief list of your typically used functions in Microsoft Office. Your list might include such items as creating mail merge documents, newsletters, etc. Please send your lists and/or explanations of what you routinely do in Microsoft Office to Margaret Crayton at worleyme@plu.edu
