Nursing Definition

  Addressing patient's needs, looking at people holistically through mental, physical, and spiritual means. To educate and promote health for the want of a better. Nursing is patient-centered and caring oriented, while using science and humanism in providing care and enhancing health.

Program Objectives

• Demonstrate the ability to incorporate the dimensions of person, nursing, and environment to promote health in a variety of nursing situations.
• Provide evidence-based clinically competent care.
• Enact the role of service as a professionally educated member of society.
• Apply the nursing process in the provision of direct and indirect care of individuals, families, and communities in a variety of settings and across diverse populations.
• Collaborate in the design, management, and coordination of care.
• Assume responsibility and accountability for professional practice.
