Blood Drive

Blood Drives 2009-2010


Purpose

Delta strives to have at least 3 Blood Drives per year to help the always grateful Cascade Regional Blood Services. This coming year, 2009-2010, we are planning 4 drives total with 3 run by Delta and 1 in J-Term run by Cascade.

Delta helps by tabling (sitting at tables in the UC and asking people if they would like to donate) as well as canteening (handing out cookies and juice to those people who have donated).

Donating blood only takes approximately 30 minutes and 1 donation can save 3 people's lives. You never know when you might need these services so it is always a good idea to give back to the community while you are still young, healthy and able.


Last Year's Success


Last Year's blood drives were a huge success and this year we are off to a roaring start!

Many thanks go out to Megan with Cascade and their committee for organizing the blood drive!!!
