Brian Desmond


Biography

Brian was born in Cyprus and has lived in Iran, Ecuador, Madagascar, Okinawa, and England, as well as numerous places in North America. He has a B.A. in English from the College of William and Mary, an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from George Mason University, and a Ph.D. in Dramatic Art (ABD) from the University of California-Santa Barbara. He is a published poet, has worked in both film and television, and has recorded numerous books on tape. In addition to his work as a professional actor, director, and playwright, Brian has served as the Artistic Director of both Theater at Lime Kiln and the Washington Shakespeare Company. He has taught Theatre and English courses at universities in Virginia, California, and Washington, and he is currently an Assistant Professor of Theatre at Pacific Lutheran University.
