Faculty and Staff Campaign 2008: Partners in Excellence
Partners in Excellence is the
annual fund raising effort among faculty and staff at Pacific Lutheran
University. Your financial contributions are critical not only for the
resources they bring to the university, but to show potential business,
foundation and individual donors that PLU employees are willing to make
the university a priority in their charitable giving plans.
Through this campaign, faculty and staff have the opportunity to support people and areas of the university that mean the most to them. These gifts make a significant impact on many university projects and are an
endorsement of our priorities.

Why is faculty and staff giving important?
Pacific
Lutheran University is a privately-funded university. Philanthropic
gifts allow students access to a quality education. Gifts from faculty
and staff are an endorsement of the university, announcing to alumni,
friends, corporations, and foundations that this is truly an
institution worthy of support and that those people who are closest to
it are doing their part.
Can I qualify for Q Club recognition?
Annual recognition by Q Club is extended to donors who make
annual gifts of $500 or more. Gifts may be made by payroll deduction, cash,
securities, or qualifying gifts-in-kind. For more information on Q Club

Payroll
deductions begin with the pay period following when the form is
received. This form must be filled out each year to ensure your
information is current. Changes in designation and/or gift amounts may
be made at any time by contacting the Q Club office.
