Communication of mathematics plays a significant role in my
classes.
A goal that is common to all my courses is: To read, write, understand
and explain mathematics at the level of the course. To accomplish this
goal, attention is paid to writing and group interaction. Students
spend
time explaining, questioning, discussing mathematics with one another.
They work at the board, and clearly write up the homework that is
turned
in. All my students are familiar with the following documents:
