East Campus at Pacific Lutheran University

Access

Building Access

Supervisors of East Campus spaces may offer keys, PIN, or ID card privileges for their employees according to the responsibilities and policies outlined in the PLU Access Policy.

All tenants should first have a "Lutecard" which is a PLU ID card that can be loaded with card swipe access to the C-Entrance door.

Key and Card Access Requests

  1. Building hours are 8am-6pm, therefore, most tenants need only an office suite key.  For those who will regularly enter the building before 7:30am and after 6pm, a card swipe will be needed to unlock entrance doors.
  2. A PLU ID card will be needed for card swipe access. Supervisors must make this online request before starting Step 3.
  3. Supervisors request keys and card swipes for their employees online at Access.   Find room numbers here.
  4. All requested information must be provided on the web forms.
  5. Emails will confirm when keys/card access is ready. If you have not received notice in 3-5 days, please contact LuteCard Services.
  6. IMMEDIATELY REPORT  TERMINATED ACCESS, LOST AND STOLEN KEYS AND CARDS AT WWW.PLU.EDU/~ACCESS.
  7. Return keys and  cards to Concierge Desk at PLU.

access@plu.edu   phone: 253-535-7411

Apply for a PLU ID Card (Lutecard)

  1. Supervisor must place the initial request for an employee online at Lutecard.
  2. Anytime between 8am-9pm Monday through Friday, employees then visit  the PLU Concierge in the University Center (bldg 34 on the campus map)  to have their picture taken and pickup the Lutecard.  No appointments needed.
