3D Arts at PLUCeramics and sculpture at PLU are intensive studies into conceptual development, and the transformation of ideas into three dimensional space. Both areas are labor and time intensive as we learn to craft, exhibit, and document our work professionally. Using contemporary texts, images, films, and visiting artists as references, we work towards developing a creative vocabulary that leads to a substantive portfolio. This program is geared towards preparing students for graduate school, and/or careers in the field of art. |
