Brief Biography

Tony is a PLU alum and in his ninth year as the Assistant Director of Admission and Advising in the School of Education and Movement Studies (SOEMS). He oversees student services, recruitment and advising of students, and implements marketing campaigns for the department. Outside of his professional responsibilities in SOEMS, Tony owns and operates a catering business.

He strongly believes in hard work and volunteerism.  As a result, he works to benefit the community through the following organizations: Puyallup Main Street Association, Guest Columnist for the Herald (2009), Puyallup Rotary, Valley Arts United, Arts Downtown Puyallup, Communities in Schools-Puyallup, Puyallup Parks and Rec Board, University Scholars Association, guest columnist for The Herald (2009), Puyallup/Sumner Chamber of Commerce, Q-Club, Puyallup Eagles, Our Savior Lutheran Church, and 4us.org.

This year he has thrown his hat into the political ring and is running for the open seat in Puyallup's first district.

In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
