FINDING ARTICLES IN PERIODICALS/JOURNALS: Periodical indexes and abstracts provide the most efficient subject access to journals and periodicals. Since animal rights can cover a wide variety of disciplines, you may want to use several different indexes. Here are some that might be helpful:
