In my 3 1/2 years at PLU, I learned very quickly the importance of communication and team work. Courses, especially in the School of Business, focus heavily on oral and written communication, and working in teams to gather and produce effective results.
I enjoy working with people who bring different ideas and backgrounds to the table and who have different personalities than I do. Though these different types of personalities can bring some conflict in the beginning of working with a group, the end result almost always brings about productive synergy.
